This activity brought together representatives of both Organisations, of the embassies of these countries in Albania, policymakers, businesses, business organizations and chambers of commerce.
Deputy Secretary General, Zsuzsanna Kiraly, in her welcome speech, highlighted the importance of strong economies in South-Eastern Europe.
Regional cooperation can make a valuable contribution in this regard by favouring knowledge transfer, benchmarking, exchange of best practices and co-creation of joint solutions to common challenges. The CEI – the largest intergovernmental organisation for regional cooperation in Europe – is ready to make its contribution towards these common priorities, she added.

The participants exchanged messages regarding Sustainable economic growth in Central & South-Eastern Europe and Albania. They discussed strategies for promoting sustainable practices on the path towards European integration, highlighting the importance of cooperation between Albania, and the Member States of both the CEI and SEECP in creating common instruments for sustainable economic growth.
