Final Conference of Project CREATE - "Climate Refugees Exist: let’s start to Talk about it"

What is climate change? Is it real and how is it affecting people's lives? What is migration and how is it linked to environmental disasters? What will the future of our planet be? 

These are some of the questions which will be answered at the final conference of the CREATE Project organised both in presence at the University of Trieste, Aula Cacciaguerra (Piazzale Europa 1, Trieste) and remotely through Zoom. Kindly note that for safety reasons and due to the maximum capacity of the room, the event will be held in a face-to-face format only for the students enrolled at the University of Trieste.

ABOUT CREATE: The project coordinated by the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics - OGS and co-financed by the Central European Initiative - CEI. aims to contribute to the reflection on the issue of climate refugees through a role-playing game based on methods of informed discussion involving schools and universities. The game, available online for free, can be downloaded by anyone to lead a group-debate and to raise public awareness on this challenging topic.
