Coronavirus: Slovenia prevents Italians from crossing border

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 22 MAG - Slovenia is going to strengthen the patrol service of the border with Italy on the Karst to prevent people from Friuli Venezia Giulia from crossing, announced TGR RAI FVG news broadcasting service citing Slovenia's news agency Sta. Sta reported that many people enter Slovenia by crossing the former border through the woods and across the fields, either on foot or by bike or motorbike. The Slovenian Civil Protection reported hundreds of cases, and this would cause concern among the population, frightened by the possibility of Coronavirus infection. Sta specified that in Slovenia the number of infections is very low, as well as the death toll, 104 from the beginning of the pandemic. (ANSA).
