(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 26 - "The spread of the Covid-19 epidemic is deteriorating the prospects for the world economy contained in the macroeconomic predictions of March 2020 made by the ECB experts," reads the bulletin of the Central Institute. The ECB wrote that "in the longer term, the expected recovery of the world economy will be no more than mediocre." The central institute explained that "the epidemic hit the world economy just as the first signs of stabilization were beginning to show up."(ANSA).
