Tusk in Macedonia and Albania as EU leaders decision looms

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 16 - Tomorrow the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, will travel to Northern Macedonia and Albania for a round of political meetings in view of the European Council on October 17 and 18, when the European leader will have their final say on the opening of EU accession negotiations with Skopje and Tirana. Tomorrow morning Tusk will meet the President and Prime minister of Northern Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski and Zoran Zaev in Skopje. The President of the European Council will then move to Tirana to meet the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama at 3 pm. (ANSA).
