Serbia, expulsion order for Italian expert suspended for two weeks

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 18 SET - Serbian authorities have suspended Massimo Moratti's expulsion order for two weeks, which was scheduled to take effect tomorrow. Moratti, a human rights expert and OBCT portal collaborator, had previously been denied a residence permit and issued an expulsion order after being deemed a "unacceptable security risk.". The 15-day extension of his right to stay in Serbia will allow Moratti to await the outcome of his appeal while remaining in the Balkan country. (ANSA).
