They stated that the ETS1 certificate would cost €26.50 in 2030. How much is it worth now? €80. So, what's the outcome of this Green Deal? As a result, the ETS-1 is destroying our industry," Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš stated this during the Bled Strategic Forum. "The Czech industry lost €6.5 billion during the period of this crazy certificate, and ETS2 will make the lives of all European citizens significantly more expensive. That is why we must work together to change this energy strategy and prevent ETS1 revenues from becoming part of the new resources of the multinational financial framework for 2028-2034," he stated.
