The demonstration was planned to coincide with the visit of European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde, who is scheduled to attend tomorrow's high-level conference "Bulgaria on the Doorstep of the Eurozone." Bulgarian Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov, IMF Managing Director Kristalian Georgieva, EU Economy Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis, and European Stability Mechanism Director Pierre Gramegna are all expected to attend the event.
