NATO parliamentary assembly in Slovenia starts tomorrow

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 9 - Slovenia will host the 71st annual meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which will begin tomorrow and last until Monday, with approximately 300 parliamentarians expected to discuss the Atlantic Alliance's current security challenges. The five permanent committees, including the Political Committee, will meet on Saturday and Sunday. Slovenian Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon and Defence Minister Borut Sajovic will attend these meetings. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will attend the plenary session next Monday and meet with Prime Minister Robert Golob and President Nataša Pirc Musar.
