Serbia, boat with 11 on board overturns on the Danube

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 6 - Last night, a boat carrying 11 people overturned on the Danube near Backa Palanka, in northwest Serbia on the Croatian border. According to news reports, 10 Chinese citizens and a Serbian were discovered on the boat, which was most likely at the helm. According to initial reports, it was most likely an illegal border crossing at a point where the Danube flows between Serbia and Croatia. Rescue teams from both countries rushed to the scene, and for the time being, a victim has been identified, even though the accident's cost is unknown. (ANSA).
