Serbia must take advantage of new momentum for enlargement: EU

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 01 NOV - Serbia must continue to implement reforms, align with the EU foreign and security policy course and make progress in dialogue with Pristina. This is according to Emanuele Giaufret, head of the EU representation in Belgrade, for whom a renewed momentum in favor of enlargement has emerged in the EU, something Serbia must take advantage of. In statements to public TV station Rts Giaufret -- who on Wednesday handed Prime Minister Milos Vucevic the commission's new report on Serbia's progress -- said that now is an opportune time to open with Serbia the new cluster 3 of negotiating chapters related to competition and inclusive growth.
