New attack against police foiled in Germany

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 6 - A 29-year-old Albanian man attacked a police officer with a machete in Linz on the Rhine, Germany, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The attacker shouted 'Allahu Akbar' as he lunged forward, announcing that he wanted to kill the policeman. The young man was stopped, but the officer was not injured. (ANSA).
