(ANSA) - GORIZIA, 27 GEN - "In Gorizia, there are always many events, organized not only by the Municipality but also by other entities and associations. We believe it is more useful than ever to create a shared calendar in the context of the European Capital of Culture 2025. This initiative allows us to the overall promotion of events. It also enables the best possible conveyance of the numerous activities in the area." Gorizia Mayor Rodolfo Ziberna announced the initiative this morning, launching "go2025.eventincittà," the service promoted by the departments of culture, tourism, sports, youth, and university policies and linked to the Communication Office of the City of Gorizia, to which associations and anyone organizing an event will be able to convey any information. News will be included in the updated calendar that the administration will publish on its own social and websites, giving it to PromoTurismoFvg, the promotional channels of "Go! 2025," and the media. The calendar will also be available on the "Let'sGo" app and website, the update of which will be presented soon. It will even be published on the EGTC portal dedicated to "Go! 2025", where events in Nova Gorica and, more generally, in Slovenia, the Isontino area, and the whole of Friuli Venezia Giulia will also be published. Ziberna reiterated that "this is the first tranche of events that will be connected to those in Nova Gorica and, like in concentric circles, to those in a much wider area: thousands will be the events related to Go! 2025."
