KEP Project – Training for Strengthening Administrative Structures and Regional Development in Ukraine

In the framework of the project entitled Know-how for Donetsk Region – Strengthening of Administrative Structures and Regional Development in Ukraine a training for 28 Ukrainian representatives of the regional administration of the Donetsk Region (Ukraine) was carried out.   The Project aims at supporting the Ukrainian beneficiary in the establishment of regional development instruments for strengthening the institutional capacities of the territorial administration through theoretical and practical know-how transfer.   The training will be followed by an internship programme for four representatives of the Donetsk Oblast, who will have the chance to get familiar with the best practices of self-government administration in the Wielkopolska Region in Poland.
A three-language (Polish - Ukrainian - Russian) publication entitled "Polish-Ukrainian Glossary of Basic Terms Related to Regional Development and Territorial Administration"  - to be presented at final meeting in order to disseminate the project results - is also envisaged.
  Co-financed by the Italian Government’s contribution to the Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP) of the Central European Initiative (CEI) through the CEI Fund at the EBRD, the project is implemented by the Marshal Office of the Wielkopolska Region, Poland.   The total cost of the Project amounts to over  EUR 40,000, with a  CEI co-financing of more than EUR 17,000.
