CEI Secretary General Meets Minister for Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Nebojsa Kaludjerovic in Podgorica

During his two-day mission to Montenegro, where he also took part in the CEI annual media event “SEE Media Forum“, on Tuesday 23 October, 2012, the CEI Secretary General, Amb. Gerhard Pfanzelter met Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Montenegro, Nebojsa Kaludjerovic.

Kaludjerovic confirmed that an active engagement within the CEI remained a priority for Montenegro,  especially in view of a further reinforcement of regional cooperation in the Region on the path towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Minister Kaludjerovic underlined in particular the importance of the CEI activities with regard to project-oriented cooperation, where important results have been registered over the last two years.   CEI Secretary General, Amb. Pfanzelter informed Minister Kaludjerovic about the main priorities of the CEI, in particular in the context of the developments achieved in the process of the so-called “Strengthening of the CEI”, launched by the “Budva Declaration” adopted in 2010 during the CEI Montenegrin Presidency. Pfanzelter also praised the support and active engagement of Montenegro for the CEI, which has contributed to strengthening good-neighbourly relations and mutual understanding in the Region.
