(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 14 - The GDP of Slovakia in the first quarter of the year "surprised on the upside as it fell by only 2% q/q and stayed approximately at last year's level," Erste Group Research said in a statement today. Erste sticks its GDP forecast at 4% in 2021, but problems might arise from "chips and lowering willingness of population to get vaccinated in Slovakia, putting into question a potential third pandemic wave."
