Italy's Undersecretary, with Slovenia for a more united EU

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 8 - "Italy and Slovenia work together in harmony for an ever more united Europe, that looks to the future and plays as a global reference point in terms of ecological and digital transition" and reaffirmed "their common commitment to a Union capable of managing structural migrations." Italy's Undersecretary for European Affairs Enzo Amendola said on the sidelines of his visit to Ljubljana, accompanied by Ambassador Carlo Campanile. "We had profitable meetings - Amendola added - with the Secretary of State for European Affairs Gašper Dovžan and the President of the Parliament Igor Zorcic. Slovenia is preparing for the rotating presidency of the European Council, which will begin on July 1, and ahead of this important appointment, we discussed some of the semester's priorities."
