(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 27 - Hungary is introducing a two-weeks-long partial lockdown to fight the outbreak of coronavirus in the country. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced on public radio restrictions on movement in Hungary between March 28 and April 11. People are only allowed to leave their homes to go to work or to run essential errands, the government portal About Hungary informed, adding that grocery shops and pharmacies will be open exclusively to people above 65 years of age between 9 and 12, every day. Others will not be allowed in those shops during that period, Orban said. People can go outside, but cannot be in a group, the PM noted, adding that the police will help enforce the new rules and can impose fines as last resort. According to local media, other exceptions are allowed, including taking children to daycare, fulfilling medical needs, individual sport activities and recreation walks, administrative procedure, wedding and funerals. Hungary has registered around 300 infections from coronavirus, 10 deaths. (ANSA).
