Coronavirus: 39988 cases in New Europe area, 212 deaths

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 25 - A total of 39988 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+6148 day-on-day), 29212 in Germany only, and 212 deaths (+55) were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as March 24, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in Germany (29212, +4438 in the last 24 hours, 126 deaths), followed by Austria (4486, +855), Czech Republic (1236, +71), Poland (749, +115), Greece (695, +71), Romania (576, +143), Slovenia (442, +28), Estonia (352, +26), Croatia (306, +71), Serbia (249, +61), Bulgaria (201, +16), Slovakia (191, +6), Hungary (187, +20), ), Latvia (180, +41), Lithuania (179, +36), North Macedonia (136, +22), Bosnia-Herzegovina (131, +6), Albania (123, +34), Moldova (109, +15), Ukraine (84, +37), Belarus (81, +5), Kosovo (61, +30), Montenegro (22, +1). In Slovenia, Croatia and in the Western Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania) 1740 confirmed cases were registered until March 24. (ANSA).
