Poland: minister, alongside Italy against illegal immigration

(ANSA) - WARSAW, MAR 14 - Poland shares with Italy a "strong" willingness to protect the EU's external borders from illegal immigration, Polish foreign minister Jacek Czaputowicz said today in Parliament. Czaputowicz recalled the official visit to Poland paid in January by the Interior Minister and deputy premier Matteo Salvini, who also had long talks with Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of the ruling party Law and Justice. The minister then mentioned the presence of the head of Italian foreign ministry Enzo Moavero Milanesi, who attended the conference on the Middle East in Warsaw a month ago. Czaputowicz believes that Poland's relations with the EU, the strategic partnership with the US and the country's energy security are among the country's priorities.(ANSA).
