Abruzzo calls Prague, a flight to Europe's green regionTouri

(ANSA) - PESCARA, FEB 22 - The Ryanair Pescara-Prague flight starting April 1 becomes the air bridge between Europe's 'green region' and the 'magical' capital city of the Czech Republic. The Abruzzo Region believes in it and puts itself on display at the Prague Fair 'Holiday World'. In the booth set up with the Marche Region, which has invested a lot in the Czech holiday market and is already reaping its fruits, the Director of the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Landscape of the Abruzzo Region Francesco Di Filippo. During a press conference, Di Filippo described Abruzzo's peculiarities and highlights. Di Filippo spoke of Abruzzo as ''one of Italy's best-kept secrets'', a treasure to be discovered through six evocative clips accompanied by flattering definitions disseminated by CNN, Forbes, Condé Nast, Huffington Post, and Independent. At the presentation, which was organized in collaboration with ENIT and the Italo-Czech Chamber of Commerce, the business attaché for the Italian Embassy Alessandro Pitotti made a contribution. It is no coincidence that in recent days Ambassador Francesco Saverio Nisio reiterated that Italy is the second most popular tourist destination for holidaymakers in the Czech Republic, with over 600,000 visitors. With the bi-weekly air link Prague-Pescara, Abruzzo brings into play all its appeal, made of nature, tradition, history, food and wine, snowy mountains and beaches, all the ingredients for an ''active holiday''.
