Lithuania will not withdraw support for the International Criminal Court: President

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, AUG 19 - "Lithuania has not discussed or intends to consider withdrawing its support for the International Criminal Court," Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said in response to questions about possible US pressure on allies to distance themselves from the ICC. "No one asked us to take such a step," Nauseda explained. "For a country that praised the ICC's decision to issue an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin, the question cannot be asked. How else could we explain this decision to our citizens?" (ANSA).
