
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 30 - Fincantieri, Kayo, and Pavarësia Professional Institute of Vlora signed a Memorandum of Understanding today at Pashaliman shipyard in Albania. The agreement's goal is to create training and educational programmes focused on shipbuilding and naval construction. According to the press release, the ceremony was attended by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Defence Minister Ermal Nufi, Fincantieri CEO and General Manager Pierroberto Folgiero, Kayo CEO Ardi Veliu, and Fincantieri Naval Vessels Division General Manager Eugenio Santagata. Fincantieri and Kayo's joint venture, called "Fincantieri Albania," was also announced. The joint venture will oversee the revitalisation and modernisation of the Pashaliman shipyard. According to the statement, the agreement allows the parties to collaborate on training modules, internships, and educational initiatives for professional institute students. (ANSA).
