(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 3 - According to the German newspaper Bild, 20,000 Volkswagen employees accepted the company's offer and resigned voluntarily, citing information released at a workers meeting. This is a joint operation with the unions that was signed in December 2024 under the name Zukunft Volkswagen (Future Volkswagen) and aims to cut 35,000 jobs in Germany by 2030. According to Bild, these resignations are the result of an agreement between the worker and the company, which includes seniority-based incentives worth up to 400,000 euros. (ANSA).
