According to Ct24 TV, his resignation is due to an alleged bitcoin donation, most likely resulting from illegal activities. Minister Blazek justified his resignation by stating that he did not want to harm the government's reputation. The minister's resignation was prompted by controversy surrounding a bitcoin donation worth nearly 1 billion Czech crowns (about 40 million euros) that Blazek allegedly accepted for his ministry.
