Bosnia, international arrest warrant for Serb leader Dodik

(ANSA-AFP) - BELGRADE, MAR 27 - Bosnia on Thursday issued an international arrest for Milorad Dodik, the leader of the deeply divided country's Serb statelet who was sentenced for flouting the constitution and is currently in Israel. The State Court said "the matter is now within Interpol's jurisdiction." Tensions have soared since Dodik was sentenced to a year in prison and handed a six-year ban from office for defying Christian Schmidt, the international envoy charged with overseeing a peace deal that ended Bosnia's inter-ethnic war in the 1990s.
