More defence spending needed: NATO's Rutte

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 14 - During a press conference with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevičs, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte emphasised the need for increased defence spending and production across the Alliance to ensure adequate forces and capabilities to protect citizens. "I also welcome Latvia's firm support for Ukraine in terms of military equipment, ammunition, and training. Ukraine urgently needs our assistance," he noted. (ANSA).
