Lithuania ready to send soldiers to Ukraine: PM

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 8 - Lithuania is ready to send its soldiers to Ukraine on a training mission, Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte said in an interview with the Financial Times, adding that she has "parliamentary permission" to do so but Kiev has not yet requested it. The Kremlin would interpret the move as a provocation, but "if we only considered the Russian response, we could not send anything," Simonyte explained. (ANSA).
