Gas: Gazprom increased supplies to Hungary in 2018

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 18 SET - The Russian state-controlled gas giant Gazprom has increased by 8.6 per cent the gas supplies to Hungary this year, Gazprom said in a statement today. The Russian company said that it had supply Hungary with 5.4 billion cubic meters of gas from January 1 to September 15. The data were made public during a working meeting in Moscow between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and the Hungarian Foreign minister Peter Szijjarto. In 2017, Gazprom supplied Hungary with 7 billion cubic meters of gas (+21.9 per cent compared with 2016, the company said. In the statement, Gazprom recalled that last year Miller and Szijjarto signed a roadmap to implement measures for developing Hungary's gas transmission system. (ANSA).
