The initiative is organized by Venice Nicelli Airport with Aelia support as part of the European Regatta L'Ammiraglia 2026 Venice Rovinj Lošinj, promoted by Yacht Club Venice and Europa Adriatica Nordest with Unione Italiana, Anvgd, sailing clubs, municipalities, and the Community of Italians of Rovinj and Lošinj. The first flight will be christened by brothers Ivano and Astellio Boscolo Bielo aboard the only seaplane enabled, today in Italy, for commercial flights. Departure is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. from Venice's Lido airport, and there will be laps of honor over Lošinj from 4:45 p.m. The inaugural flight is accompanied by a second Junkers aircraft with a passage over Rovinj, and an artistic sketch for a commemorative postage stamp has been created for the occasion to commemorate the 100th anniversary 1926-2026 of the Sisa flight.
