Vance spoke at a press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest to commemorate Hungarian-American Friendship Day. "It's amusing to see prime ministers and leaders of some Western European capitals talking about the energy crisis, when they should have followed Viktor Orban's policies in Hungary," he said, adding that the crisis "would have been much less severe."
