(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 16 - Ansaldo Nucleare met with a representative from the Romanian embassy in Italy at the Ansaldo Energia Ice headquarters to present and discuss developments related to nuclear projects in Romania. The meeting came after the Italian financial insurance group Sace, Ansaldo Nucleare, and the Romanian nuclear energy company Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the sidelines of an intergovernmental bilateral meeting between Italy and Romania on February 15. The agreement includes a financing line of up to 2 billion euros for Cernavoda's unit 1 plant life extension project, as well as the completion of units 3 and 4. (ANSA).
