Sahara's dust descended over Athens

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 24 - According to the BBC, clouds of dust from the Sahara desert have blown in, creating a dramatic orange haze over Athens. According to officials, it is one of the worst such episodes in Greece since 2018. Similar clouds had already hit Greece in late March and early April, affecting Switzerland and southern France as well. The Greek weather service predicts that the skies will clear on Wednesday.
