Lithuania says hit by cyberattack, Russia probably to blame

(ANSA-AFP) - VILNIUS, JUN 27 - Lithuania was hit Monday by an "intense" cyberattack, which Russia was "probably" behind, said Jonas Skardinskas, the head of the National Cybersecurity Center. The attack comes as Russia ratchets up threats against the Baltic nation after last week Vilnius imposed restrictions on the rail transit of certain goods to Kaliningrad that were affected by European Union sanctions against Moscow.
