The main purpose of this project is to improve the environmental situation and increase people’s awareness to manage wastewater through implementation of a sanitation facility for the Chetrosu village in Northern part of Republic of Moldova. The proposed activities have the main scope to manage increased waste water discharges due to the implementation of the water supply system for socio-cultural facilities in Chetrosu supported by World Bank’s Rural Water Supply Component of the National Water Supply and Sanitation Project. The major activities will focus on conducting of a feasibility study for design of the sanitation facility and installation of the wastewater treatment equipment.
