Germany: Ifo, companies planning to cut jobs

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 24 - Companies in Germany are planning to cut jobs in the next months, according to the German Ifo Institute. The Ifo Employment Barometer fell to 94.5 points in February after measuring 95.1 points in January, the third decline in a row, the institute informed. "The lockdown is leading to job losses, particularly in the retail sector," while the outlook for the manufacturing sector looks brighter, Ifo said. (ANSA).
