(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 20 JAN - Bulgaria and the Chinese companies ACN Worldwide and Jiangsu Alfa Bus have signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperating on the construction of a new plant for electric buses in the EU country, local media reported. The project, based on 25 million euro investment, should lead to the construction of the plant for 'e-buses' and of a research and development center in Bulgaria and to the creation of 250 jobs. The memorandum was signed in Beijing at the presence of the Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Mariyana Nikolova. "We have highly qualified personnel in this industry, as leading companies manufacture high-tech automotive equipment here," Nikolova was quoted as saying, the specialized portal SeeNews reported.
