Montenegro: Energean starts research of hydrocarbons

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 11 - The Greek company Energean has started a 3D seismic survey of two offshore natural gas blocks in Montenegro, the Montenegrin hydrocarbons agency informed, the specialised portal SeeNews reported today. The 3D seismic survey in the Adriatic sea will be performed through a special vessel and will take eight days to complete. Energean is currently the sole operator of the offshore blocks 4218-30 and 4219-26 in Montenegro, covering an area of 338 square kilometres. The blocks were awarded in March 2017, SeeNews noted. The total cost of the initial exploration is estimated at 4.4 million euro. (ANSA).
