Germany: gas storage exceeded 75%

(ANSA) - BERLIN, 14 AGO - German gas storage facilities exceeded a 75 percent fill, Dpa reported. The first goal in preparation for winter is achieved two weeks early. Berlin intends to protect itself against the possibility of a complete Russian gas shutdown. A government order stipulates that as of September 1, storage facilities must be at least 75 percent full, as of October 1, 85 percent full, and as of November 1, 95 percent full. (ANSA).
