​10th International Symposium New Technologies in Sport 2017 held in Sarajevo

Organised by the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, in partnership with the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University of Travnik, the 10th International Symposium New Technologies in Sport "Entrepreneurship and Business in Sport" was successfully held in Sarajevo on 13-14 October. It was attended by 150 students from Europe, the region, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with over 50 foreign, regional, and Bosnian and Herzegovinian lecturers and experts in the fields of sport, entrepreneurship and management.

The opening ceremony was attended by many officials: the state Minister of Communication and Transport, Ismir Jusko; the Rector of the University of Sarajevo, Rifat Škrijelj; the Prime Minister of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, Elmedin Konaković; the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Sarajevo Canton, Elvir Kazazović and the Dean of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, Safet Kapo, who officially opened this year's International Symposium NTS 2017.

Day 1 witnessed the participation of renowned lecturers from Europe and the region, along with three book promotions. Day 2 continued with lectures by professors and experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and Europe and ended with student poster presentations at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education.

As part of the Symposium, the foreign students visited the City Hall of Sarajevo and the cabinet of the Mayor of Sarajevo, with the aim of supporting international cooperation and development in the field of sport and tourist-sport activities.
