The meeting will celebrate the 50th anniversary of relativistic astrophysics, initiated, among others, by Yakov Barosovich Zeldovich, the outstanding Soviet scientist, who was born in Minsk, Belarus. The main goal of the gathering will be to strengthen scientific contacts among the leading scientists in the field of astrophysics and cosmology as well as among students and young researchers. The five-day conference will focus on topics such as black holes, gamma-ray bursts, supernova, neutron stars, dark matter and energy and astrobiology. | ||
