Representatives from political, social, economic and cultural institutions as well as from European macro-areas and regions, together with scholars and experts from universities from Central-Eastern and Balkan countries will gather and discuss the current issues Europe is facing today within the historical background of the developments since the fall of the iron curtain.
The main topics will be the internal divisions in Europe, in particular between EU and non-EU countries, and the growing Euroscepticism. Special attention will be paid to non-EU countries in the two-day event, where participants of all CEI Member States will be represented.
The forum - organised by the Mitteleuropa association in cooperation with the Autonomous Region of Friuli-Venezia-Giulia - is co-funded by the CEI Cooperation Fund.
