Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management (VACuM) training course, Prague (Czech Republic)
The Visegrad Academy of Cultural Management (VACuM) is a two year training course for professionals working in the cultural field in the Visegrad Group countries (V4), i.e. the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Eastern Partnership countries (EaP): Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
VACuM opened in September 2014 and it will fully develop in 2015.
On 9-18 March, the project is organising a training session in Prague for the development of projects in home countries of participants.
Study visits in selected CEI countries and a Diploma Seminar will also be organised (11-14 September 2015) in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Main objectives of VACuM:
- development of skills and competences in the field of cultural and community policies and management
- strengthening democratic transformation and community development
- supporting integration and cooperation between EaP and EU.
VACuM is not an academic course but a tailor-made training for already experienced professionals open to cultural cooperation projects. The enables participants to carry on their professional tasks, developing their professional competencies and building new cooperation networks in EU and EaP countries.
