More than 70 delegates from all around the world will be addressing a series of issues encompassed under the overarching theme of inequality in the 21st century.
Titled "Deconstructing Contemporary Inequalities", MUNSC Salient 2016 will offer of a series of interactive activities which can be divided into two parts. The first consists of traditional Model United Nations (MUN) simulations, in which the participants shall assume the role of state representatives within one of three simulated councils.
The second part consists of workshops and roundtables on “Lost generations: humanitarian crises, development challenges and youth”; “The (Multi)cultural Future of Europe”. And on “Inequality in the 21st Century: From Despair to Solidarity“.
The conference shall also host an exclusive public discussion with the Ambassador of the Italian Republic, H.E. Paolo Trichilo, on the topic “Assisting the vulnerable populations – Italy’s experience with refugees”.
This event is co-financed by the CEI Cooepration Fund in the framework of the Extraordinary Call for Proposals for co-financing Cooperation Activities on migration and related crime.
