International Conference "Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities - Improving Reporting in media", Belgrade (Serbia)
Educators, activists, representatives of relevant NGOs and journalists are meeting on the occasion of this international conference to discuss ways in which media can contribute to improving the position of persons with disabilities, with particular focus on their social and professional needs. The analysis of the current quality of media reports about persons with disabilities will serve as a starting point for identifying responsibilities of the media, as well as opportunities for improvement, which are at the center of the four discussion panels during the event.
The International Academy-International Media Center is in charge of the overall organisation of the conference, in cooperation with the South East Europe Media Organisation (SEEMO) and the South East and Central Europe PR Organisation (SECEPRO).
