EUBCE 2016– 24th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition, Amsterdam (Netherlands)
In the framework of activities related to Sustainable Energy, the CEI has further strengthened its collaboration with European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) to mobilise stakeholders from CEI Member States in view of the challenges and opportunities of Bioeconomy.
In this context, we kindly invite researchers and entrepreneurs from CEI Member States to participate in the 24th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition taking place in Amsterdam on 6-9 June 2016, which represents a leading international event for dialogue among research, industry, policy and biomass businesses.
The key focus of the 24thEUBCE will be the interaction between research, industry and policy. The Programme will be tailored to the needs of both the wider audience and scientific experts and will address topics from biomass itself to conversion processes for biofuels, bioenergy and biorefineries, to industrial applications of research results and to political policies and impacts on the environment, and to the role of biomass in the emerging bioeconomy.
The EUBCE is supported by European and international organisations such as the European Commission, UNESCO - United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization - Natural Sciences Sector, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, the Global Bioenergy Partnership, the Central European Initiative, WCRE - the World Council for Renewable Energy, EUBIA - the European Biomass Industry Association and other organisations.
The Technical Programme is coordinated by DG Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.
