CEI Venice Forum - Part 2, Trieste (Italy)
The curators from Central and Eastern Europe will gather in Trieste in order to discuss the crucial topic of obtaining public funding for research and experimental production in contemporary art. BEFORE NUMBERS. ISSUES AND ACTIVITIES, organised by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee, will include expert contributions from several CEI Member countries, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia. This two-day event is a follow-up of the “Perspectives in funding contemporary art research” tackled during the Seventh CEI Venice Forum for Contemporary Art Curators, which took place last May at Ca’ Rezzonico in Venice. The CEI has been supporting the Forum since its first edition. Over the years it has become a major CEI flagship activity in the field of culture, co-financed by the CEI Cooperation Fund.
