(ANSA) - TRIESTE, NOV 12- ESOF 2020, the most important European event focusing on the debate between science and technology, society and politics scheduled for July 2020 in Trieste, will be presented in Ljubljana as part of ''Start-ups and Technology Transfer in Innovation Ecosystem in South-East Europe and the Alpine Regions'', scheduled for November 15-16 at the Technology Park Ljubljana. The two-day event, organized by the European Commission's Joint Research Center, aims to provide policymakers and innovators with the tools to support startups in South-East Europe. Stefano Fantoni, Champion of ESOF2020 Trieste, and Bruno Della Vedova, local programme coordinator ESOF2020 Trieste, will take part in the round table ''Towards Esof 2020 Trieste: Building up a Network of Innovators In South-East Europe'' scheduled for November 16. Among the speakers, Michele Morgante, scientific director of the Institute of Applied Genomics, Udine, and Roberto Siagri, President & CEO of Eurotech Spa, Amaro, Udine. The event will be moderated by Giancarlo Caratti, Head of the ''Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer'' Unit at the JRC. (ANSA).
