Kosovo: Erdogan, Belgrade-Pristina dialogue should continue

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT. 17 - The need to continue the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina with the aim of reaching a compromise solution on the Kosovo issue was underlined by Turkey's president Redzep Tayyip Erdogan, who today had a phone converstion with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic. The presidential bureau in Belgrade reported that Erdogan said that he will support any agreement that will be reached between the two parties. Other topics of the meeting were political and economic collaboration between the two countries and the situation in the Balkan region. Erdogan invited Vucic to the inaugural ceremony of the third Istanbul airport on October 29, Turkish national holiday, and on that occasion some bilateral agreements will be signed, in particular on the construction of roads by Turkish companies in Serbia. The two presidents agreed on the beginning of preparations for an upcoming official visit of Erdogan to Serbia in 2019. (ANSA).
