Migrants: Mattarella, issue should be faced by the EU

(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 15 - "As for migrants, Italy and Romania are first-arrival countries and are both aware this phenomenon should be faced in Europe and along with the Union as a whole". That is what Italy's president Sergio Mattarella said at the end of a meeting with Romania's president, Klaus Werner Iohannis, on a state visit to Italy. Migration is a "European problem that must be tackled jointly by all the EU member countries", he added. (ANSA).
